In vitro alternatives for DTaP batch release testing in animals

Batch release testing of the diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis combination vaccine involves the use of lots of test animals like mice and guineapigs. This project aims to reduce and replace the need for test animal use by exploring the possible use of in vitro cell culture alternatives.
