Biomarkers in ANCA vasculitis

My research focuses on the identification and validation of biomarkers in ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV). In addition, I investigate improved methods for accurately assessing ear, nose, and throat (ENT) involvement in these patients, as this remains a diagnostic and monitoring challenge. A specific area of interest is the exploration of potential biomarkers in eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (eGPA), including the use of non-invasive sampling techniques such as nasal strips. Furthermore, my work examines sex-based differences in AAV, aiming to better understand how disease presentation, progression, and outcomes may vary between men and women.
