Influence of maternal diet on the breast milk composition, and its consenquence on the development of respiratory infections

A substudy of the PRIMA breast milk cohort, in which we follow-up 250 mother-child dyads during the first year postpartum. The long-term and short-term influence of the maternal diet is assessed with 24h recall and FFQ, and compared with the breast milk composation at 1 month and 3 month postpartum. In addition, the prevalence of infections in the first year of life is assessed by a 2-weekly questionnaire.
